Seat-Map Editor

A Canvas/Fabric.js editor that turned physical venue layout into stable seat records for organizer editing and buyer selection.

Problem
The existing seat-map functionality represented physical seating too simplistically and did not give organizers a rich spatial editor.
My role
I worked on the Canvas/Fabric.js editor mechanics for chairs, tables, row layouts, arc geometry and stable seat-record binding.
Implementation
Build tools for chairs, tables and row layouts, including row sizing, dragging and arc geometry. Bind every drawn seat to a real seat record so the purchaser can later see location relative to other seats and the venue focal area.
Engineering choices
Use Canvas/Fabric.js geometry for organizers while binding each shape to stable seat records so the buyer UI can preserve seat identity and location.
