Fullstack and DevOps Engineer

I grew from frontend intern to fullstack and DevOps engineer on TK, building the ticket storefront, major admin features, document-generation services, deployment tooling, scaling configuration, and a seat-map editor.

My work

Hands-on product engineering across frontend, services and infrastructure for an event-ticketing platform.

I built the TK ticketing storefront end to end in Next.js with Mantine, including frontend design, performance/accessibility work for organic search, Google's ticket-search integration, and Google Wallet/Apple Wallet ticket passes.
I built major parts of the React/Ant Design admin portal for event creation, ticket types, pricing, partner complimentary tickets, and timed or sales-volume lot-release rules.
I worked across 12+ NestJS services behind a GraphQL gateway that merged service schemas, with Redis for cache/auth and transport evolving from gRPC to Kafka, NATS and an in-progress SQS migration.
I extracted PDF generation into a dedicated lightweight document service after Puppeteer/Chrome memory pressure hurt parent services, allowing document load to scale separately from core event services.
I introduced Docker/Kubernetes/Helm foundations, ArgoCD release practices, and a Tilt plus Minikube local workflow that forced deployment-manifest changes to be tested alongside application changes.
I built a Canvas/Fabric.js seat-map editor with chairs, tables, row tools and arc geometry, binding every drawn seat to a real seat record so buyers could select seats by physical position.

Platform engineering

Storefront, service architecture and delivery across the ticketing platform.

  • TK ticketing platform

    TK connects the buyer storefront, organizer admin portal, and event services through a GraphQL gateway over 12+ NestJS services. I worked across the frontend, PDF generation, payment and document scaling, Helm/ArgoCD deployment, and the Tilt/Minikube development workflow.

  • Storefront, admin and domain rules

    I built the storefront end to end in Next.js before the App Router, including progressive page generation, accessibility, search integration, and Google/Apple Wallet passes. I also built major parts of the admin portal for events, ticket types, pricing, partner complimentary tickets, and batch-release rules based on time, sales, or lot exhaustion.

  • DevOps and scaling

    I brought Dockerfiles, Kubernetes manifests, and Helm charts into the daily development workflow. Tilt and Minikube ran the same service declarations locally, while ArgoCD applied releases through Helm. Scaling used Prometheus metrics to tune DigitalOcean nodes and pods, with separate HPA configuration for payment and document services during sales and complimentary-ticket bursts.

  • Problem

    A ticketing platform needed organizer/admin surfaces, buyer storefront, document generation, services and deployability as it grew.

    I progressed from front-end intern to fullstack/DevOps engineer and worked across storefront, admin, services, document generation, deployment and scaling.

  • Implementation

    Build TK storefront in Next.js/Mantine, contribute major admin React/AntD areas, work across 12+ NestJS services behind GraphQL gateway, isolate Puppeteer PDF generation, and manage K8s/Helm/ArgoCD/Tilt workflows.

  • Engineering choices

    Separating PDF generation kept Chrome's memory load away from the event services. Sharing deployment manifests with the local Tilt workflow made configuration errors visible during development.
