Ontology-Guided Insights

A Python/LangGraph insight-generation service for executives who needed recommendations, not only direct answers to known questions.

Problem
Analysts could ask good natural-language data questions; executives often did not know what to ask or what business objective mattered.
My role
I worked with the Perch team on the Python/LangGraph service that turned query results and client ontologies into executive recommendations.
Implementation
Send query results, derivations and pivots through client-built ontologies that describe relationships, meanings, objectives and values to maximize or minimize, then generate recommendations and drill-down sub-insights.
Engineering choices
The service feeds query results and derivations through customer ontologies to structure recommendations beyond direct query answering.
